The Battery
The batteries used in the electric motors of our sloops are built to last. We offer several options to suit different budgets and battery life needs. Depending on the type and how fast you cruise, you can enjoy a full day on the water (6–8 hours). Charging the battery from a regular power outlet typically takes under 10 hours, and some batteries are removable, allowing you to charge them at home. Batteries are becoming lighter, more mobile, and more powerful—so you can enjoy boating even longer.
